Synopsis:

"Scary Movie 5" - "Scary Movie 5" continues where "Scary Movie 4" left off. Or does it? We have the "Scary Movie 5" movie poster before the film was even written. But, since the "Scary Movie 5" budget is so low, and the screenplay will take less than a month to write, suffice it to say that the film's target release date, October 11, 2008, is a sure thing.

Scary Movie 5 was officially confirmed by the Weinstein Company in 2009. David Zucker is expected to be returning as director while Anna Faris, Anthony Anderson and Regina Hall have all expressed interest in returning for the sequel. In June 2011, a release date was announced for April 20, 2012.Zucker expressed interest in spoofing the Final Destination film series, as well as Paranormal Activity and the Child's Play film series.
